About this ride

The Peaks Challenge is one of Australia's most iconic cycling events — a 235km loop from Falls Creek Village through the Victorian High Country, taking in three legendary alpine climbs: Mount Buffalo, Mount Hotham, and the return ascent to Falls Creek.

With around 4,000m of climbing, this is a bucket-list event for serious riders. The route is fully signed and supported with feed zones, mechanical crews, and medical support. Riders must complete the event within 13.5 hours.

Entry is by ballot. Most riders spend months training specifically for this event.
